Dinner & a Movie

An Elegant Evening in Casablanca, where classic cinema and Moroccan-inspired cuisine set the stage for a night to remember. Doors open at 5 PM at the Gem of the Hills, so arrive early to enjoy appetizers from the exotic menu curated by chef Sibby Barrett. Put $25 in the Cork Pull to win a bottle of the finest wine, or try a Pomegranate Cardamom Fizz Mocktail. Bid on local treasures and unforgettable experiences, settle in for a gourmet dinner, and then wrap up the evening with a private screening of Casablanca at the Blanco Library, set to begin at 8 PM.

Navigating Rocky Terrain
An Author Talk with Laurie Roath Frazier

Laurie Roath Frazier will be at the Blanco Library to read from her book Navigating Rocky Terrain: Caves, Karsts, and the Soul of Unseen Spaces. With a focus on Hill Country ecology, these stories explore how deepening our connection with nature offers comfort and hope. Weekly Storytime

Storytime is an early literacy program primarily for children from birth to preschool age (0-5 years) to encourage them to develop habits that foster a lifetime love of reading and learning. Children of all ages are welcome!

Genealogy Assistance

Gary Hill has over 30 years of genealogy experience and is donating his research services to the Blanco Library. Drop by the genealogy room on Thursdays from 1-3pm, or call 830-833-4280 to make an appointment.
