Blanco County Bake-Off
Saturday, March 7th at 9:00 AM
This is one sweet day you will NOT want to miss! The Blanco County Bake-Off is open to all home bakers in the community (non-professionals only). No mixes are allowed, so this competition is sure to bring out the best scratch biscuits, scones, pies, cakes, cupcakes, and creative pecan-inspired recipes in our slice of the Hill Country.
Compete for ribbons, medals, local prizes, and of course bragging rights. Or, purchase slices & raffle tickets, cast your vote for People’s Choice, and bid in the live auction!
Reading Between the Wines
Wednesday, March 11th at 5:30 PM
Texas crime, dark humor, and familiar characters… oh my! Reading Between the Wines returns with award-winning author Ben Rehder, well known around these parts for his hilarious Blanco County murder mystery series.
La Vie Estate Winery will provide the wine pairing for the event, because nothing pairs with murder, mayhem, and poor life choices like a well-poured glass of Texas wine.
